An adult will pay 28€ upon booking and the remaining amount 26€ will be paid in cash at bus to the guide. Children 32.50€ The total price for a child age 3-11,99 yrs is 33€. A child will pay 20€ upon booking and the remaining amount 13€ will be paid in cash at bus to the guide. Children under 3 yrs are free of charge. Your day starts with being picked up from your hotel or at one of the specific pick up points. On the bus the guide is going to give you all the necessary information about the cruise. The ferry is waiting for you when you arrive at the port of Kissamos. There is a self-service point on board where you can buy meals, snacks and drinks. You can freely choose your seat either on the outside deck or inside. From the port, it is less than an hour's sea journey to Balos lagoon. You have possibility to swim in the crystal clear waters and enjoy sunbathing at the beach or on board. The break at Balos beach is 2,5 hours. It is only 20 minutes from Balos to the island of Gramvousa. There will be 1 hour and 45 minutes break on the island where you can stay ashore for a swim, hike up to the Venetian fortress of Gramvousa or stay on the ferry. From the island of Gramvousa, there is a direct return to the port of Kissamos-Kastelli. During the boat trip, it's a great opportunity to admire the scenery from the sea when the sun is already behind you. The ferry is arriving at 17:45 to the port and the return time in Chania is approximately by 19:00. The facilities on ferry accepts only credit cards, no cash! Notice! To see the Gramvousa fortress you need to walk uphill a couple of hundred of meters to reach the top of the island.

The ship departs everyday from the port of Kissamos for Gramvousa and Balos lagoon. STEP 1: Buy fast and smoothly your ticket here! Departures: 10.25 – return to the port at 17:30. First stopp at Balos then Gramvousa. 10.40 – return to the port at 17:45. First stopp at Balos then Gramvousa. 10:55 – return to the port at 18:00. First stop at Gramvousa then Balos. Details of your trip The ferry leaves from the port of Kissamos and sails in the bay for an hour, after a while you will see a large cave known to be an ancient shipyard. At the end of the bay you will see an impressive geological phenomenon, over time Crete’s west side is rising and the eastern side is sinking. This is happening because of the movement of the African tectonic plate under the Eurasian plate. You can see the ancient coastline along the rocky shore.The self-service bar stays open throughout the whole cruise, offering light meals, salads, soft drinks, coffee, ice creams and more. Gramvousa - The island of Pirates The highest point of the island is 137 meters, here you find the famous castle of Gramvousa that was built by the Venetians in 1579. The castle played a huge role in the history of the area because of the panoramic view and the legends about a hidden pirate treasure. You need to hike up for about 20 min to reach the top. Please remember to wear good comfortable shoes. You can also have a swim near the chapel of Agioi Apostoli or you can choose to stay on the ship. Another fun fact is that Gramvousa island has three plants that havent been found anywhere else on earth. The break in Gramvousa will be approximately 2 hours. The trip from Gramvousa island to Balos is about 15 min. Balos Lagoon Balos is mentioned as one of the best beaches in Europe. A beautiful exotic beach with warm turquoise water. It’s a true beauty! You will enter to the beach walking by a folded bridge from the ferry. The ferry will stay at the Balos beach almost 3 hours. You may also stay in the ferry and enjoy sunbathing if you wish.
