The Olive Tree Restaurant is located in Platanias right next to the beautiful mediterranean sea. We give you the very best from the soil of Crete. With special love and care we offer you our very best cretan dishes made from lots of imagination, tradition and respect. A taste of Cretan luxury and we always strive for more.
As we are open all day we welcome you from morning until late night. Enjoy one of our salads, a few started for lunch and at night time a real cretan “trapezi” menu, to really experience the flavors of the island.
Our friendly and service minded staff are there for you to have the best possible time. Always ready to suggest a food experience. For those that rather pick something more mainstream we also serve classic european dishes. Snacks for lunch and all sorts of beverages and coffees.
Our restaurant is very much children friendly as it is located at a safe distance from the main road and no noisy traffic will disturb you letting you enjoy a nice relaxing evening. Don't miss the beautiful sunset as we have front row seats for this everyday magic moment…
