Ethän ohita tätä pientä helmeä Plataniaksen keskustan tuntumassa, jossa on ihana ulkoruokailutila appelsiinipuupuutarhassa muutaman metrin päässä liikenteestä ja pääkadulta. Omistaja Dimitriksellä on ollut ravintola Abelopas jo vuodesta 2003. Muutama vuosi sitten hän siirsi ravintolan kadun toiselle puolelle, joten paikkaan on niin entisten kuin uusien asiakkaiden helppo löytää.
Abelobas tarjoaa perinteisiä kreikkalaisia ja kreetalaisia annoksia. Dimitris puolestaan on hyvin pidetty ja tunnettu lämpöisestä kreetalaisesta vieraanvaraisuudestaan! Useana iltana viikossa tarjolla on myös ELÄVÄÄ musiikkia ruokailun lomassa.

Our experience at Abelopas.
At first we were welcomed at the side of the road and after they guided us in the amazing aesthetic garden. All the tables was among trees and around plants. An amazing space that is very carefully designed.
The food. Where to start and where to finish. Every dish was delicious. Each dish was prepared at that time so all the ingredients are fresh and the food is hot and well cooked.
(Tip: Try the Ntakakia, thank me later)
The prices was more than satisfactory if you bare in mind that the quality of the food was top and it’s a not a tourist tavern with unjustifiably expensive prices. The prices are normal for both the tourists and the locals!

Wonderful staff and astonishing garden inside. The food was delicious and the chef is incredible. The prices are very affordable and the quality of the food met all expectations. Well done guys and thank you for our wonderful stay! We will be coming here for our family dinners !

A real gem of a restaurant. Hidden garden at the back has the most wonderful ambiance to enjoy your dinner . The host and waiters were super . The food was great and well priced . Good variety of traditional food . Live music was perfect , not too loud and traditional. Definitely recommend dining there.
