For more than 25 years we have been the local partner for TUI. Speedwheel was founded by Terry Dagounakis in 1984. Today his two daughters Katerina and Vivian have now taken over the operation of the company. Their ambition is to remain the leading company in the Platanias Chania area (northwestern coast of Crete) within the car rental industry. Full Coverage Insurance - the affordable way to deal with the unexpected when you rent a car Renting a car most of the times means driving a car you’re not familiar with, in unfamiliar places, maybe on narrow country roads with signs in a foreign language. Parking may be difficult and dealing with local driving habits can be challenging. In most other car rental companies If you have an accident and the car is damaged your rental agreement will cover the full cost minus a cost called excess mentioned in your car rental policy. In this case you will be liable to pay this excess amount, which in many cases could be more than the amount you’ve paid for renting the car.
