We started in 1910 as a small cozy cafe, and the last 25 years we work as a restaurant and cafe with room for 80 people. Here you will find the most well-known tastes of our traditional kitchen and some special international dishes, including homade pizza and spaghetti.
Also here you can enjoy real mezes plates ( tapas )!

Avrofiliton restaurant is right in the heart of Platanias, on the mainroad. Here you can really feel the pulse of Platanias as it is a meeting point both for local greek people and travelers. The restaurant is family owned and it's one of the oldest in the village. Many locals will visit the “Kafenion” to have their daily coffee, the cafe is open all year around and in the winter it's still full of life. Mostly men joins us for coffee but in all ages gather here to talk about the latest news and share their thoughts. You are welcome to join them, order a greek coffee and start talking! At night an ouzo is just right with a meze or two.

Our restaurant right next door offers a high quality stander on our food and our menu has a wide range, from mezedes, greek dishes, special international food, homemade pizza and spaghetti we have something for everyone. Don't miss out on our Mixed Tapas Plate, we highly recommend it.
