Another beautiful gorge walk that is pretty and peaceful, ending up in the village of Polyrinnia where we take lunch at a local taverna! Stunning scenery and home to many nesting Griffon vultures.
Details of your trip
The path through the gorge is accessible for most walkers. As we walk we’ll explain a little about the history of the area and point out interesting things in the gorge & surrounding area. Aromatic herbs like thyme and sage grow all year round, filling the air with their scents.Goats roam free in the gorge and if we are lucky we might catch sight of the majestic griffon vultures who live & nest in the high cliffs.

- A walk of approx 2 – 3 hours suitable for adults and children
